Oh you guys are in for a treat on this on. I totally forgot I had pics of this one. Since I started the project of sharing all my Gleaner pics. Here is one of the rarest Gleaners made. The Gleaner E III. Which was made only for 1 year, and was replaced by the Gleaner K. Since I took these pics, I don't know what happened to the combine. As I never been back to that farm since. Back then the farmer was old, so I'm sure its gone by now. The difference in the E III over the K isn't much. So they look very similar.    Here is the cab interior. If you saw my Gleaner E post. You noticed not much changed over the years. Still simple and easy to run.  The small header. I think it was the 10ft model.  |

That is a GREAT looking Gleaner EIII combine! The side shield panels are really in nice original condition with little to no rust. Would hate to see that old gal in a scrap pile. You need to find these combines Sam and put them to work on your hobby farm. I like the grain head as well, I imagine the reel is the original orange paint?

Yes that combine was well taken care of. Most of ours are and usually mostly in sheds. Most combines I took pics are in their original paint. I know of one F that got repainted. And it looked very good.

If I had the room to store one of these Gleaner "EII"s I would buy one just to take to antique tractor shows to display and for parades. I think people do need to realize that combines were not always as big as they are today, and it would allow them to see what a Combine looked like back in the day. Seems like the companies cared more about the smaller farmer back then as well.
