Thought I would tell more on my self. I live in Western NC, where there is many small farms. Most range in the hobby farm to little over 1,000 acres. So we are not your large farmers like most out there. Where I got my start on the Gleaner brand? As a kid, the local farmer who farmed our fields. He ran a Gleaner E. He only cut grain and soy beans. His Gleaner had a 10ft header. To me that combine was a monster. I rode with him cutting many hours over the years. Since then Gleaner has always been a part of me. Over time I started riding and driving the F2. And once I got my license, I began to ride out to the farms to catch their combines in action with camera. So over the years, I got a lot of pics of them in action. I do collect the toys on Gleaners. My collection is small, but I'm proud what I have. As Gleaner toys are hard to come by, unlike the other more popular brands. I do also try to collect the Gleaner brochures.
I don't know everything about Gleaners, but I will help what I do know. And hope others will chime in to help out as well.

Welcome to "Silvercombines1923"! I know you have a vast knowledge of the Gleaner combine brand and have captured some nice pictures of some of the older Gleaner machines at work! I started this website as a tribute to the Gleaner combine brand, one of the most oldest and most experienced names in building combines. With Gleaner's 95th Anniversary in 2 years, I hope to do something special with the board and then the Push to the 100th anniversary in 2023!

Glenn, I take it your a big Gleaner fan as well. Would be interesting to know what all Gleaner toys you have in your collection? I have AC tractors in my collection as well. Still some hard to find versions of Gleaners I am looking for.
