Ok, so several years ago I found a brochure that featured the Gleaner R52 and R62 combines rebadged as the White 2500 and 2600 combines. I have always wondered what the deal was behind these combines? I know they had the Cummins Engine in them standard with no Duetz-Allis Air cooled engine as an option. I believe these were made in 1992 or perhaps 1993? Anyway it must have been before AGCO acquired Massey Ferguson, otherwise AGCO probably would have rebadged or perhaps returned the White name to its actual Axle rotary design. Then again AGCO has done stuff before that's questionable... Il stay out of the whole drop the orange, and White brand and bring in Challenger debate.
I have seen only 1 of the White 2500( Gleaner R52's) in person before and they are definitely a rare machine if found. I can't see there being maybe more then 100 of the 2500- 2600's built, maybe less or more. [img src="![]()
